At SRAM Sales Store, we stand behind our premium cycling components with the same confidence we have in our drivetrain technology. If your purchase doesn’t meet your performance expectations, our straightforward returns process ensures you’re back on the road quickly.
Eligibility & Timeframe
You may return or exchange most items within 15 days of delivery, provided they are:
- In original, unused condition
- In original packaging with all tags and documentation
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, the following cannot be returned:
- Installed components (cranksets, derailleurs, etc. that show signs of use)
- Personalized or special order items (custom aero handlebars, specific size combinations)
- Clearance items (marked as final sale)
Returns Process
Step 1: Initiate Your Return
Email our support team at [email protected] with:
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
- Reason for return
- Whether you prefer refund or exchange
Step 2: Receive Authorization
Within 48 hours, we’ll email:
- Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Return shipping instructions
- For exchanges: confirmation of product availability
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package items securely and include:
- Completed return form (will be provided)
- Copy of your invoice
- RMA number clearly visible on package
Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
Step 4: Processing
Allow 3-5 business days for processing after we receive your return. You’ll receive email confirmation when:
- Your refund is issued
- Your exchange is shipped (with new tracking information)
Refund Timeline & Methods
Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving your return. The refund method depends on your original payment:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 3-10 business days to appear on your statement
- PayPal: 24-48 hours to reflect in your account
Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases of incorrect or defective items.
Exchange Policy
For size exchanges (24-Inch to 29-Inch wheels, 650B to 700c, etc.):
- We’ll ship the replacement once we receive your return
- Price differences will be charged/refunded as needed
- Free return shipping for exchanges of the same product in different sizes

Damaged or Defective Items
If your SRAM component arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include photos of the damage/defect
- We’ll arrange prepaid return shipping and expedite your replacement
International Returns
For customers outside the U.S.:
- Mark package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs fees
- We cannot refund original customs/duties
- Return shipping costs may be higher – consider using your original carrier
